Thank you so much for joining Teacher Ping School! I look forward to starting the musical journey with you.

To start, there’s a few things you need to know:


ONE-ON-ONE & MASTERY CLASSES

Schedule

In one academic year, the One-on-One & Mastery Program is made up of:

  • 39 individual weekly classes
  • 6 group classes, held once a month


Payment terms for One-on-One classes

There is a one-time registration fee ($40) for all new students and after that, fees are paid by term (every 3 months). If you would like to pay every monthly, please contact us – we allow monthly instalments under special circumstances. If you join in the middle of the school term, the fees are prorated for the term.

Term 1: January to March

Term 2: April to June

Term 3: July to September

Term 4: October to December

 

Termination for One-on-One classes

Please provide one month written notice of termination to start@teacherping.com


Attendance policy for One-on-One classes

We would love it if students attend all the classes! Once we have agreed schedules, all dates are set.

In cases where students cannot attend an individual weekly class, you have 4 “make-up credits” per year. These credits allow you to reschedule your class (subject to the teacher’s availability). Any changes need to be communicated. To receive a "make-up credit", you need to login via teacherping.mymusicstaff.com and select the class that you are unable to attend. Please notify us at LEAST 3 HOURS prior to class time, otherwise we are unable to provide a make-up credit.

The credits expire and need to be used within the academic year. They are non-transferable and non-refundable.

If a teacher changes the time slot, you will be given a make-up credit.


GROUP CLASSES

Schedule

The academic year begins on the first school day after New Year's Day. There are 45 lessons in the school year.


Payment terms for group classes

There is a one-time registration fee ($40) for all new students and after that, fees are paid by term (every 3 months). If you join in the middle of the school term, the fees are prorated for the term. There are no refunds if you withdraw before the end of the term.


Attendance policy for group classes

We would love it if the kids can attend all classes! All the dates are set.

If your child cannot attend class, please let us know. Due to the nature of the group class, there are no make-up credits or opportunities to make up the class

Safety and Security

We create a safe place for the children and you to learn music. Please help us by:

  • Accompanying your children for classes where possible
  • Send and pick your children up on time
  • Take care and remember to take all your items! We are not liable for any loss of property or personal injuries

Pay it Forward

Teacher Ping is all about spreading love, skills and musical talent.

Lessons may be recorded and photographs may be taken so we can improve educational training and awareness.

We invite you and your children to participate in school-sanctioned events where the proceeds are donated to a charity.

The Charity we are currently supporting is My Home Project organised by Project Love Asia. My Home Project provide homes for the orphans in Maesot, Thailand. Join us in this great initiative and to spread love and music!
